Twelve years ago, Ryan and Phil Bergman founded RBC with a commitment to provide quality building services to the greater Grand Rapids community. The Bergman name is steeped in local history as a family owned and operated company. For four generations they have served West Michigan with integrity and a commitment to their clients construction needs. RBC is fully licensed, bonded, and insured.  

Bergman Family History

The History starts with Walter Bergman (1st generation) who was a timber frame builder in West Michigan after coming to America from the Netherlands as a child. His son Arthur Bergman (2nd generation) was a home builder and owner of Bergman Lumber of Standale Michigan for over 30 years. Ryan and Phil Bergman (4th and 3rd generation) continue their family construction tradition and have a combined 50 years of building experience.
